The 4th Mekong - RoK Business Forum

Realizing Investment Opportunities in the Mekong region

In order to promote private sector investment and exchange, the Republic of Korea and the Mekong countries (Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam) have established the ‘Mekong–Republic of Korea Business Forum’. The forum was first launched in 2013 in Bangkok, and successive events were held in Hanoi and Phnom Penh in 2014 and 2015 respectively. The forum is an effective platform to connect Korean companies with businesses based in the Mekong countries. With support from the Republic of Korea, the Mekong Institute launches the ‘Mekong– Republic of Korea Business Forum’ in the Mekong countries to facilitate a more inclusive and broad-based integration of the regional economy. From 2016 to 2021, the Mekong Institute will facilitate the ‘Mekong– Republic of Korea Business Forum’ as an annual event to promote business network and investment among Korea and the Mekong countries.
